Sleep

Sleep continues to be a puzzle for me. I would like to know how much sleep I need but I still can not work it out.

I suppose that I am not patient enough to allow my body to show me. My body probably needs several weeks to settle into a rhythm that works for it.

Its the second week of the school break and I am still sleeping 10 hours a night. I do not want to accept that my body needs 10 hours sleep a night.

To know whether or not this is my body’s natural long term rhythm or just recovering from being sleep deprived for so long I would need to wait prabably another couple of weeks or so. But I cannot afford that.

For me, who wants to do so much, having a body that wants so much sleep is so frustrating.

I'm back, now what?

Ok, I’m back from the dead… well not literally but back from being buried alive in full time teaching.

Now need to rationalise blog reading and blog writing.

get rid of all religious blogs. I can’t focus on teachig and religion at the same time. I can be religious through teaching but I can’t think contribute to the fields of religion and education at the same time.
focus down on middle school blogs or blogs that are directly related. Try to trim it down to about 25 blogs, I reckon.

Need to rationlise life so that I have a prayer life, have an exercise routine and am able to support my family again.

So i am working on that , while cathciing up with neglected tasks around the house, finishing off marking from last term and preparing for next term.

Someone tweeted saying that it was like the mad hatter’s tea party. That’s a good metaphor.

Tweets were disappearing. Tweets were coming back after two days. It was working for some people, part working for other, and not at all for others.

It really was like a mad hatters tea party.

I had a good morning getting out the test eamil sendouts. That’s always a buzz… contacting 150 families in one hit like that… the adrenaline is huge.
